10:00 AM – 11:00 AM    Welcome

• Local dignitaries, presentations, DJ

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM    Door prizes/Awards

• Group photo

 Tour Options

Tour options below are a guide. Participants may deviate from the times and plans below to see other points of interest based on the preferences of vehicle drivers and their occupants. Estimated round trip range is listed. We have a lot of charging at APUS, but not along the way, so make sure your vehicle is charged for your trip.

For Tour Levels 1-3, after the initial “EV Sociability Run” to Shepherdstown, drivers will tour on their own timeline and pace.

 Level 0 Tour (for those who want to stay in or close to Charles Town)

• Day in Charles Town
  • Lunch in Charles Town
  • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Downtown Charles Town Guided Tour at Charles Town Visitors Center
  • Bloomery Plantation Distillery tastings
  • Hollywood Casino
• Total Range Required: 0-10 miles

Or, join another driver in their car for the day while your car charges at APUS.

Level 1 Tour – Spend the day in Shepherdstown

• Day in Shepherdstown (approx. 4 hours)
  • Lunch in Shepherdstown
  • Self Guided Walking Tour, starting from Shepherdstown Visitors Center
  • Shepherdstown Museum

  • Visit the shops Downtown
• Total Range Required: 25-30 miles

 Level 2 Tour – Shepherdstown & Harpers Ferry

• Drive to Harpers Ferry
  • Tour Harpers Ferry National Historical Park
  • Scenic Trail, Outdoor Festival and Music on the Ridge

Level 3 Tour – Designed for Model S owners who want to Supercharge in Hagerstown

    • Washington County Rural Heritage Museum

6:00 PM    Rendezvous at APUS’s Solar Parking Lot

• Plug back in before heading off to dinner.

Dinner

• Choose from many fine restaurants in Charles Town.
• Evening gathering at the Charles Town Races/Casino. Group photo at the winner’s circle of Race #7 (post time 9:45 PM).
